Morocco Originals started as an idea when Morocco closed their borders in March 2020 due to COVID19 – honestly because the founder (Sandy W. Madar) wanted to get some original Moroccan handcrafts products which she didn’t get with her home to Denmark when the boarder closed the first time. Hereafter the idea grew into a project with the aim to build bridges between customers and the handcraft artists around Morocco by building this website and create social medias to help promote their beautiful handcrafts products. 

From here the idea only grew bigger, because selling already produced handcrafts products can be hard and to many are doing it already. Not only that, there is already to many products which are not sold due to COVID19 and less and less are getting sold as times goes by, so our focus in Morocco Originals will therefor also be to not only be your Personal shopper, looking among the many artists around Morocco after just that thing or things you are looking for but also giving you the opportunity to work directly with the artists to create your own unique designs based on the traditional methods. 

By why stop there – when Morocco have so many other things to be proud of as there argan -, cactus -, and olive olie, spices, cosmetics, housewares, sweets and so much more.  Here the idea for making “Taste of Morocco” package’s, to not only help the local producers but also to give you a chance to taste some of the many top-quality products Morocco also have to offer as well as other things you will find in traditional Moroccan homes. 

We have therefore spent since 2020 – with three long lock downs – to not only learn more about the many traditional handcrafts products but also to find out where there are famous for which products as well as all the practical’s things related to creating them, as we one by one have found some of the first artists to work with from all around Morocco and in the different areas of traditional handcraft – just for you.
